import procedures on 1 May 2004. Four separate BIP

involved inspecting imported cattle in quarantine stations
and with the end user farmers, reviewing the health
certificates that accompanied the latest importation of
cattle and reviewing the laboratory’s competency to perform
the ELISA re-tests on the imported cattle. Meetings were
held with the Minister of Agriculture and the Chief
Veterinary Officer. |
