IVEC
have developed, not only a very specialised team of auditors,
but also a more generic team who are able to audit against a
prescribed norm.
The
role of an audit is to establish the effectiveness of agreed
internal systems which have been implemented. In addition, to
establish the compliance of a supplier to the customers
requirements.
Our
audit teams can identify non-compliances and ensure that the
correct advice and support is provided in order to rectify all
identified non-compliances.
An
alternative form of audit which IVEC carries out routinely
whereby we can identify what can be achieved/altered within an
organisation, to achieve efficient delivery and cost
effectiveness. This audit has often been used where a company
requires a different perspective and a clearly focused team in
order to identify deficiencies within the organisation.
Following
on from the identification of areas requiring development, IVEC
are able to draw on the necessary expertise required to suggest
procedures to rectify these needs.
The
drill-down audit, has been used effectively to identify problems
and to test traceability systems. The process of this audit is
to develop a sampling programme ensuring statistical
significance and then carrying an end product selection. This
will follow through to the end of the production chain e.g.
animal of origin though to packaged pork.
IVEC
offers auditing services from our audit body, not only on a
third party basis as described above, but also on a second party
basis. This allows an organisation to set the standards so we
can audit against the standards for that organisation. IVEC
undertakes to train the staff according to the particular
customer requirements. This will be at no further cost to the
client.
Our
team of auditors have been selected on the basis of experience,
technical knowledge, as well as language skills. Thereby this
audit service can be offered in many languages to meet all
customer needs.
