Border
Inspection and Portal Health
Within
our team of 150 veterinary professionals, we have a group that
operates within the area of border inspection.
These personnel can review current portal health systems,
streamline and advise them on how best to achieve the
requirements of the relevant EU Directive through cost effective
deployment of staff and efficient systems.
We
work effectively with importers and exporters in order to ensure
the most efficient transfer of products, working to avoid
unnecessary delay of the transfer process. Our team ensures that
the product complies with the importing country’s health
requirements, details the administrative requirements and
ensures that the officials at either end of the process are
satisfied with the load documentation.
We
also
work alongside shipping, fishing and airline companies, to
ensure that vessels are at a suitable level of hygiene to meet
the portal health requirements.
